Hello, my name is Céline and I am the artisan behind Coeur Deciel. A few years ago, life led me to slow down and rethink my sensibility. What if, rather than a defecient gene, it could be a tool for observation and sharing?
For me, illustrations resemble fireworks of colours and emotions. My aim is to capture my customers' message and translate it into shapes and patterns.
Je suis maman de deux filles: Rose 6 ans et Liv 2 an. Je n’ai jamais fait l’expérience d’une aventure aussi riche que la matrescence. Être mère a changé mes convictions en soupe à l’humilité dans laquelle les deux âmes qui m’appellent maman s’amusent à touiller. Touiller encore et encore. Et ce qui remue, amène à grandir, non?
I'm committed to offering my customers a pleasant, crystal-clear experience. I offer what I like to receive, and that means clarity. That's why I have created a 4-step process. It offers every human the comfort of letting themselves be carried along by an organization that's 100% in tune with their needs.
Communication plays a fundamental role in my practice. I use non-violent communication and active listening to better understand the projects entrusted to me.
Made to measure! There are as many visual stories to tell as there are projects. I value my clients’ rights to step back and reflect. This is why I offer a a time to adjust the illustration during major validation stages (2x).
I like to play with vibrant colours and mix different textures and media. Misty washes mixed with more frank, sparkling brushstrokes have become my trademark.
The iPad is my tool of choice: its versatility and flexibility offer incomparably precise rendering. My watercolour brushes also hold a special place in my work.
As much as I enjoy digital art, I also like to incorporate more traditional elements such as watercolours, pastels and coloured pencils. I love the organic touch this brings to my illustrations.
